ASP Updates!

21st century, here I am! I've reconfigured ASP to accommodate you, the viewer. There is less clutter and more interaction to feed your obsession with interactivity. You can keep abreast of my tweeting on the right, read the other blogs I've seen and look at all my social networking stables. As always, you can read previous bloggery by myself and think about ways you can influence me to write more.

Follow the links above to subscribe to the ASPRSS feed so you can be alerted immediately when new genius is published. I'll also be adding genius (textually and photoplasmically) via my mobile device. These additions will appear without headlines, as I cannot figure out how to do this on my phone.

Enjoy the new look!

Volume 5.0 Prologue

I have returned again to entertain the few people who enjoy my writing. I realize that after I announced my last return, I entered about 3 or 4 posts and quit again so I cannot make anymore promises. I will take it one day at a time and try to find time to sit down every couple of days to write.

The topics will be less sports-related and more about current events and things that tend to piss me off from day to day. After all, those posts seem to generate the most feedback and "lmfao's". I've been brainstorming for about a day and come up with some topics to write about this first week. Hopefully I can find the time to write it all out while I care for my pregnant wife who can't seem to stay healthy for longer than two consecutive days. She is my biggest fan when it comes to this blog thing, so we'll see.

Finally, I'd like to thank the academy and everyone else who reads this. Hopefully my audience grows a little more this time so I can have more than three people yelling at me to enter a new post. Sometimes I like to entertain people with my absurd tales of public transportation drunkardry (yep, that's a made up word) and the elderly losing the ability to control their bladders, dentures, and hatred for new technologies. So tell your friends, tell your enemies, tell that guy who carries around the fake baby...

ASP is back.

Vote and/or Die

No, this won't be a Public Service Announcement telling you that one person really DOES make a difference. I'm no Puff Diddy or anybody actually famous. Was "Vote or Die a good idea? It's important to vote and let the government know what you think, but it's not a life or death situation. I could think of something else you could lead the phrase "..or die" with. Things like, Kill, Move, Eat, Skate, etc.

So I've decided to add a poll every once and a while to the right side of ASP. Oh and by the way, I'm calling the blog ASP. It's an acronym. Go figure. So vote for your favorite entry and feel free to suggest one I left off. Don't just vote for "Other" and not tell me which one you thought was better. That's a douchebag move.

The poll will change when I get bored with it so keep on the look out for new topics to waste your time with.

ASP out.
